Little Fritz on the mend

Little Fritz has just gotten off of a couple weeks of cage rest and is out and feeling better. The past couple of times our club gamed in the attic, he was upset that he was locked up and couldn't be around the action. He is on some new medication from the Doc and it's helping with the pain. Unfortunately, we have also found out that he has degenerative disc disease, and this was the first of what could be a continuing problem. For now, we are going to stick with the medication and hope he can be off of it soon, though we may have to consider surgery later on. We have also been considering a more holistic approach in the form of acupuncture. We'll keep everyone posted on his condition.

Regimental Fire and Fury Is Coming!

It is with great pleasure that we can finally announce the soon-to-be arrival of Rich Hasenauer's Regimental Fire and Fury rule system. Our club has been playing and hosting the trial version of the system at HMGS-East conventions for several years now, and we look forward to the long-awaited release of the rules.

The above image is the cover page of the system. For a more in depth look into the system and for pre-ordering visit Rich's Fire and Fury website at:

I'm told the published rules will be available beginning in July, which will also mean you can find it for sale at Historicon in Valley Forge, PA during the weekend of the 8th through the 11th. The asking price will be $36 and pre-orders are accepted beginning in June.

Little Fritz in action

Little Fritz recently got into a scrap with a pit bull that rushed us while taking a walk. Little Fritz (who is a 20 pound Dachshund by the way) drove off the attacker, but seems to have injured his back in the fight. He has been medicated as per the docs' orders all week, but seems to be taking a turn for the worst. I know he is just a dog, but will your prayers please be with him. We are going to the vet for an assessment tomorrow, and unfortunately things look bleak.

All weather Fritz:
